Fluorine hydrocarbon (CFC): They come as a propellant in spray cans, as a coolant in cooling arangements and freezers, warm pumps, air-conditionings, with Foam plastic, as well as in drugs used. They damage, above all the ozone layer of the earth. The result is higher ultraviolet rays which increase the risk from cancer of the skin.
Formaldehyde: It exists in living rooms often in glues, varnish, chip records to the insulation, in to pieces of furniture, back coatings of carpets, but also in cosmetics, clothes, to medicaments, nursing means and cleaning agents as well as in cigarette smoke. It appeals to the mucous membranes and can lead to allergies, tiredness, concentration weakness, amnesia, asthma, lung damages and, with longer effect, to cancer. Up to now in spite of considerable, health doubts application of formaldehyde-containing products was limited too little.
Wood protection means: They contain toxic chemicals like Pentachlorphenol (PCP); Lindan or Endosulfan. The evaporation can lead in the body to heavy damages like marrow decrease, respiratory standstill, nephritic damages or cirrhosis of the liver.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) and carbon monoxide (CO.): They get into the living space by airtight sealings of windows and doors, by the breath air and by incomplete combustion in stoves and open chimneys. Solvents: (like benzene, Dichlorethal, Xylol, toluol): They are included in glues, paints, varnish, PVC floors and damage liver, kidneys, bowels and stomach; they count as cancer-causing.
Mineral fibers: They are used, above all, as an asbestos substitute in insulating materials. By inhalation they damage the mucous membranes.
Polychlorinated Biphenyle (PCB): One finds it as a coolant in electric devices, possibly in transformers, but also as ignition condensers in fluorescent lamps, in colours and varnish, plastic tenderizers, coolants, wood protection means, insulating material. Health damages step in the form of chlorine acne, loss of hair, headaches, visual weakness, hormone disturbances, liver damages and as growth delays with children. PCB is fat-dissolvable and, hence, concentrates in the body fat.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): One finds it, among the rest, in window frame, isolations, floor coverings and baseboards. Problematically the additions are also a cadmium and lead for the protection of aging processes. The Evaporation of PVC can lead to visual disturbances and sign glands cancer. In case of a fire toxic chlorine steams and dioxin develop.
Radon: a natural, radioactive gas which exists in the nature in tracks everywhere in the earth. Especially in areas with raised uranium salary high charges appear. Radon penetrates by the cellar into the houses. According to estimates of experts at least 200000 buildings are loaded only in Germany with raised adon values. After the smoking radon is the most frequent cause for the appearance of lung cancer.
Tobacco smoke: It is the most frequent residential poison and can cause, above all lung cancer.
