On the contrary industrial pellets are made of raw materials of much poorer quality. The content of the cortex in such a fuel can reach up to 25%. And to my great regret the volume of ash is relatively large in this case and can reach up to 3-5% and even more. Of course this may seem to be somewhat disappointing in terms of the necessity to take care of nature. But for the industrial purposes it is not so important. It goes without saying that the price of such pellets is certainly lower and this kind of wood pellets is used in industrial boilers. It goes without saying that such a fuel is not recommended for your home because it could significantly increase the size of operating costs. Moreover this kind of wood pellets hasn’t got a lot of advantages to compare with traditional fuels. So in most cases people mean the first kind of wood pellets which are white as mentioned above.
