Patio Heater With Built In Media Player Released
December 14, 2009 by Go Green Tips
Despite the nights getting darker and the weather getting colder, we still want to try and enjoy as much of the outside as possible. Fortunately, a brand new set of electric patio heaters have been released that will improve your outdoor experience.
Chillchaser, a UK based patio heater company, has recently released a new range of 3 patio heaters. The new 3 are named Neptune, Zeus and Poseidon, each of the models come at different prices and different features.
What makes the Chillchaser patio heaters so special is their amazing style and range of features. This new range of heaters look nothing like any other patio heaters I’ve ever seen. Chillchaser have been able to design their patio heaters like no other because they don’t use the standard gas heating method that other patio heaters use. Each of the heaters use a new carbon fibre heating system which emits more focused heat and emits absolutely no CO2 gasses. Each of the heating tubes are replaceable and offer up to 8,000 hours of heat, pretty impressive.
Other features included in these new patio heaters include an infrared sensor that turns the heater on when movement is detected. All the heaters also come with a tip over feature which turns the heater off if the unit is knocked over.
The cheapest heater out of the 3 is the Neptune. To go with the features above, the Neptune patio heater also comes with a 360 dome light fitted to the top of the unit. This means that you won’t have to stand in the dark while keeping warm. At £299, it’s not a bad price for the huge range of features available.
The second heater is the Zeus patio heater. The Zeus patio heater is very similar to the Neptune because it also has a light fitted to the top of the unit. The only difference is that the Zeus’ light doesn’t provide 360 degree lighting. With a price tag of £449, I’d rather have the Zeus any day.
The most expensive of the 3 is the Poseidon which despite having a water based name, isn’t actually waterproof. What makes the Poseidon so much more expensive, and the best looking, is that it comes with a media player, 7 inch screen, and built in speakers at the top of the unit. At £849, it’s a bit you’re paying a lot for the entertainment value.
If only Chillchaser released an indoor heater which could replace the standard portable heaters or fan heater as they are pretty clunky.
