Dust Control May Possibly Be Contributing To Global Warming

January 18, 2010 by Go Green Tips · Leave a Comment

As we humans go into another decade we are faced with the subject of how to restrain worldwide warming. We must evaluate all aspects of global warming and decide what we can do to help stop the change. Not to long ago I overheard an important person that I well respect talking about the need for dust control in addition to talked about elevated fugitive dust that people are creating. So I decided to study this possibility from a historical viewpoint.

When we examen the levels of dust emissions within today’s surroundings, we quantify this in terms of particulate matter, usually abridged to merely PM. Particulates are tiny subdivisions of hard matter hovering in the air. If you might imagine the finest dust may possibly have began as a large bolder. This dust ultimately reaches an elevated level in our atmosphere at which point it develops a layer of dust insulation. May it be that our lack of dust control has amplified the levels of dust in the atmosphere to the point that it has caused a rise in the earth’s warmth?

when we look back in the past it is easy to realize that mankind had a lower influence on the environment with a lesser population. There were fewer cars, building sites, roads and all together a lesser amount of activity to produce fugitive dust. There was not as much agricultural or tilling of the top soil but as the population increased the requirements of man followed and as a result did the dust.

We look way back at these actions and realize man has definitely amplified the levels of dust pollution as a result of their activities. But we have to also understand that man has as well aided in decreased levels of dust through innovation.

In the past a lot of the paths that we traveled were made from the most accessible matter in the general area. It was not exceptional to find a stretch of street consisting of no more than earth. The roads are still widespread in our day but today we utilize environmentally safe dust control products to cut down the dust generated whilst driving on these roads.

In the earlier times there were usual prairie and woodland fires that generated fugitive dust from the burning trees, brush and grassland. Not only would the dust levels escalate from the burnt vegetation, but the newly burnt terrain would now without difficulty release dust particles into the atmosphere with a minimal shift in the winds. Several of the fires began from a single well positioned lightning strike in an uninhabited area. These fires were left to burn due to the lack of assets to battle such fires and on occasion the lack of citizens to report it. Now these fires are quickly attacked and brought under control.

These improvements can only be credited to the progression of man and have in reality lowered the levels of dust the air. In lots of places road dust control has enhanced the roads to the point that one can hardly tell if the road is concrete or soil.

After considering the odds that man made dust is attributing to climate change I have come to the deduction that if anything, man has helped bring down the levels of dust not increased it. I hope this clears the air on this topic. I guess we will merely have to blame climate change on sun spots.

Magnetic Energy System Is The Source Of Alternative Energy Today

December 26, 2009 by Go Green Tips · Leave a Comment

Lately there have been tremendous innovations in search for green energy. A couple of years ago the world leaders came together to seek solutions to global warming and find clean energy sources to replace the traditional depleted non-renewable energy sources. Solar energy is probably the easiest clean energy resource that is feasible or at least has been in use in some parts of the world for some years now. It is readily accessible to anyone anywhere in the world as long as there is sufficient sunlight with reasonable intensity. Besides solar energy resource there are other renewable energy resources such as wind and magnetic power generators.

Perhaps the greatest recent breakthrough in the search for clean sources of energy was the invention of magnetic power generator. With the invention it has now became possible to make a generator the main energy source at our homes. As a new invention, this technology may become an renewable free energy solution for residential homes.

So how does magnetic power generator work…? In short a magnetic power generator relies on magnetic (attraction and repulsion) forces to produce energy. This force initially powers the generator which in turn produces more power in excess of what it consumes also known as free energy. The excess power produced is what we can tap into to power our homes. It is also this free electricitythat makes magnetic power generatorunique. Of course there are more details than that and there are simple manuals available that show how to build a magnetic power generator at home.

In addition to free electricity from magnetic power generator and solar panels, some people have tapped into wind generated free electricity as mentioned above. Wind electricity is harvested using wind turbines. The long journey towards sustainable energy has just begun and it is the responsibility of all of us. It has become an everyday topic on any media these days. Renewable energy is not only significant for our environment, but also for our personal budgets.

The most significant development in achieving free electricity dream is being able to build these power systems at home. With easy to follow guides, several people have been building homemade magnetic generators at home, solar panels at home or even wind power generators at home. These entire electric generators have pros and cons. For example solar panels rely on sunlight to produce power which is free, but it may not be useful in areas with limited sunlight exposure. Wind turbines on the other hand rely on wind to produce power which is also free, but is only restricted to areas with sufficient wind.

Magnetic power generator is perhaps the most convenient source of free home electricity. This is especially so if you can build or make a generator at home. Unlike solar panels and wind turbines, magnetic power generator does not need any external fuel to run, it is self propelled. In other words, once it starts running it will not stop and the longer it runs the more free energyit produces.

The Reward Of Pellet Stoves And Toward Log Stoves

November 29, 2009 by Go Green Tips · Leave a Comment

Energy costs as well as climate change are issues which affect us all. Our heavy use of fossil fuels such as oil and gas to run our cars in addition to heat our homes is no longer sustainable or affordable. Combustion oil plus gas also places additional carbon dioxide into the atmosphere which is increasing global temperatures. Wood pellets used in pellet stoves are a carbon neutral form of energy. Therefore in many countries around the world, tax incentives are offered for installations. Fuel experts now expect gas, oil as well as electricity prices to rise by over 50% in the next 5 years. The increase in price is due to continued conflicts in countries where our oil comes from along with due to taxes, increased to pay for green fuel technologies. Purchasing a pellet stove now will easily pay for its self in 5 years.

Learn more about Pellet Stoves

As you will have clearly noticed the prices of oil along with gas over the last few years have increased dramatically, and will continue to rise into the future due to reduced resources, increased global demand and continued war as well as political disputes. On the other hand very few people benefit from these charge increases as most of our oil plus gas supplies come from Russia as well as the Middle East. Pellet stoves, a pro-active way to reduce our oil / gas consumption and dependence. Energy pellets can be produced from biomass and various other local resources such as agricultural waste along with purpose grown energy crops. A large number of local as well as stable jobs can be formed in the resource range, processing as well as distribution of fuel pellets. In the current economic recession this is an excellent way to generate local jobs and increase locally spending within the community.

Not all wood pellet stoves have the same features as well as abilities. This therefore means some stoves can burn higher ash content in addition to cheaper fuel pellets where others can not. Pellet stoves with less abilities lessen your choice of energy pellets along with ability to keep fuel costs to a minimum. Yet these differences in abilities are not well known, this guide describes these features plus abilities. At PelHeat we specialise in small scale pellet energy production plus their combustion characteristics as you can see from the video above. From our own research we have found that many pellet stoves sold at similar prices have very different abilities with some stoves very energy flexible and some very limited. To help people purchase more fuel flexible pellet stoves, we have developed this guide. Buying a more pellet energy flexible pellet stove means you can use efficiently more locally created energy pellets, plus keep the costs of running the pellet stove low.
