The production of wood pellets.
The process of production of pellets is the process of recycling industrial waste into solid fuel to make it suitable for combustion. The most popular material for the production of pellets is wood. Wood pellets can be manufactured from different types of waste wood and agricultural industries such as plant stalks, sawdust and wood chips, nut shells, waste left after processing of sugar cane, sunflower husks, stalks of tobacco, waste in the production of tea, wheat and various other waste materials of the agricultural industry. Furthermore I should stress that the moisture content must be no more than 12% and the size of it mustn’t exceed 55 mm.

This affair starts with shredding of waste wood. When the thickness of unprocessed wood waste for more than 10 mm, and is size is greater than 50mm then it’s not easy to crush this stuff. So for this purpose a special crushing machine is used. In this case this solid waste is crushed with the help of the hammer crusher. This crusher is able to turn this substance into the powder with a particle diameter of about 3 mm.

After this it’s high time to start the process of drying. Experts tell that the normal content of moisture in the material used for pellets is 13-15%. Have a look at the special drum for drying this stuff. It consists of two parts which are the furnace and most of its surface enabling to reduce the moisture content of the material from 60% to 10%. By the way to reduce the cost of electricity sometimes a stove, operating on sawdust can be applied. Certainly you can also use coal, gas and wood logs for this purpose if you can afford this of course. Besides this I want to add something closely connected with the process of drying. In order to prevent the leakage of heat drying drum should be covered with the film outside. This film is made of a special cotton material.

Then the process of granulation is carried out. The granulator is considered to be an essential part of all the equipment for the production of pellets from sawdust. The lubrication of the granulator is controlled by the computer that monitors the temperature of the working surfaces. So if the temperature increases violating established limits then the computer sends a signal to the lubricating system of rollers and the matrix. Thus the problem of wear of granulator moving parts is solved. By the way there’s an opportunity to lubricate moving parts manually. When the substance is passed through the matrix with holes of the established diameter pellets appear in this world. Then they should be packed and delivered to their masters. This unique stuff can make any winter become a pleasant experience.

It is truly fantastic how gifted we get when the time comes to be more well-balanced about energy. The energy crisis that is promised to ahead pushed lots of people to inventing new ways of taking care of energy issues. One of them - wood pellets which are really effective and ecologically smart.

Wood briquettes against the ecological disaster.
It’s no secret that the humanity can do the only one thing best of all. I mean our eternal ability to produce litter. We are good at garbage making and it seems to me that nobody is going to outperform us on this matter. Of course it’s known that around big cities you can find a great variety of desert dumps. In other words it’s a sort of a real post - apocalyptic landscape where only flocks of crows and other unpleasant creatures can be come across. You can see tons of waste materials such as timber or paper mills. Real scaring mountains of sawdust can be stumbled over as the most common product usually left by many wood processing companies. It goes without saying that all of this stuff can’t be considered to be recycled materials. I hope that you understand that it’s impossible to incinerate this entire harmful and problematic staff because this can threaten us by numerous fires arisen as the result from the wind blowing.

Certainly because of smoldering wood dust and pillars of black smoke can reach towns and cities nearby. That’s why for many enterprises it is quite cheaper to store these waste materials rather than to pay huge fines to corresponding institutions closely connected with environmental protection. In fact the current ecological situation points out to the fact that a wide range of renewable biomass energy is considered to be the first and most important tool for producing both heat and electricity. And there’s no wonder about this because of the fact that this source is widespread and requires no special extraction costs. In fact, if you proceed with thorough calculations then you can easily find out that harvested forests replace nearly half thousand million tons of those waste materials mentioned above each year. That’s why many countries are interested in finding a proper solution of this problem. So as follows from this our trouble is to make a new environmentally friendly product, which could serve all people of the world. Thank God the solution has been recently found. I mean fuel briquettes.

Now, the market has begun to develop quite rapidly. So the consumer price of one tone of briquettes in has crept up and reached almost two hundred dollars. I should stress that this price is rather good when compared with the price of other fuels and especially when taking into consideration the cost of production. In the situation with a constant rise of oil prices, alternative energy sources of energy tend to occupy leading positions seats in policies pursued by various companies. In addition, it solves the problem of those areas, which have certain difficulties with conventional sources of energy supply. Besides this you should know that there’s another reason which is no less important. The matter is that you can’t deny the support of this alternative source of thermal energy provided by numerous governments. That’s why this environmentally friendly stuff has got quite a promising future.

It is really fantastic how gifted humans are when the time comes to be more well-balanced about energy. The energy crisis that is promised to ahead pushed lots of people to inventing new ways of taking care of energy issues. One of the examples - wood pellets which are really effective and ecologically genuine.

Biomass Energy Is The Best Gift Of Nature

The terminology of modern energy.
The process of formation and development of our human civilization has been always based on a growing increase in the use of different fuels as a source of heat and other forms of energy. It goes without saying that without this our human life is simply unreal. The matter is that the extraction of energy is quite necessary for different kinds of industries. But to my great regret the current sources of energy applied keep on causing an irreparable damage to our ecology and the natural balance, which calls into question of the further existence of our human civilization.

The most common harmful types of sources of heat are oil and gas. Certainly they are non -renewable, which means that the depletion of their reserves in nature very soon. Sop there’s no a possibility of recovering significant amounts of them in the foreseeable future.
The use of traditional sources of heat emitting large quantities of CO2 is quite dangerous for environment, no matter where you live. I hope that you know that CO2 is a carbon monoxide. This increase of the greenhouse effect is just the increase in temperature all over the planet and therefore this means an irreversible change of all living conditions of the Earth.

I hope you know about the Kyoto Protocol. This document declares that all the signatory countries must undertake certain measure to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions in the world. So this historical agreement implies a gradual transition to alternative, safe sources of energy. These alternative sources of energy include different biofuels which are produced from waste of vegetables and animal waste materials. So let’s enumerate a few kinds of them right now.

I’d like to start with pellets. This stuff is one of the most modern types of sources of thermal energy. They are produced from renewable sources which are simply waste materials of the wood processing industry. Their CO2 emissions when burned are considered to be rather minimal. In other words they are able to meet the requirements of the Kyoto Protocol.

Let’s go further. Just a few words about fuel briquettes. Fuel briquettes are considered to be an alternative to firewood. They are quite popular because of their low cost, fire safety, environmental friendliness, and certainly the lack of harmful and dangerous products of combustion. Moreover their production does not require the use of live wood. This means that their production does not reduce the amount of forests on the Earth. Like pellets briquettes are also produced under the high pressure and temperature. Thank to these solid biofuels various waste materials have become quite useful substances. And I’m greatly glad because of this. You cam choose any of these biofuels mentioned above for your daily heating.

It is truly fantastic how talented we are when the time comes to be more self sufficient about energy. The energy crisis that is promised to ahead pushed lots of people to inventing new ways of taking care of energy issues. One of the examples - wood pellets which are really great and ecologically genuine.
